Insurance appraiser Tom, a young man who had recently joined the insurance company, was patient and very meticulous and responsible. He took photos of almost every corner of the car so that he could make a detailed assessment back at the company. In Jessie’s case, cars were usually valued by an insurance appraiser before being sold at the most reasonable market price.

Jessie introduced the car to Tom. Although it looked very old, her husband had spent a considerable part of their savings to buy it. This car had been her husband’s dream in his youth, but due to the family’s financial burden, they had to spend the money elsewhere. Only in their later years, with Jessie’s strong support and encouragement, did her husband finally buy this car, fulfilling his dream.
